Indian cooking is an experiential process where expertise is developed by using one’s senses – smell, touch, taste, sight. Hands-on cooking is thus an essential part of this sensory driven process.
Indians learn cooking by not just learning recipes but rather learning building blocks of Indian Cooking. Thus, none of the recipe books works well. Also, knowledge of building blocks helps to improvise the dish creating your own dishes.
